The Turkish artist Khaled Argenç has moved from Turkey to the British capital London, announcing his entry into the world of commercial investment by opening a specialized store for selling Turkish sweets and pastries.
A Well-Thought-Out Idea
Argenç, who gained widespread fame both locally and internationally after portraying the character of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in the series “Magnificent Century,” confirmed in media statements that his project in the field of sweets was not a sudden decision, but rather a well-thought-out idea for some time. He pointed out that the store was opened in partnership with several of his friends, denying any current plans to open branches within Turkey.
Staying Away from the Spotlight
Khaled Argenç has relocated to London with his family and his wife, actress Bergüzar Korel, while continuing to pursue his professional life, but away from the spotlight in Turkey.
Close sources indicate that the media pressures and constant pursuit by camera lenses drove him to seek a quieter life for himself and his family, away from being an artistic family under scrutiny.
Khaled Argenç was born on April 30, 1970, in Istanbul, and began his artistic career on stage in the mid-1990s before transitioning to television and cinema.
He married Turkish actress Bergüzar Korel in 2009, and they have three children. Their relationship is considered one of the most stable and famous in the Turkish artistic community.
Sultan Suleiman
Argenç achieved wide international fame through his portrayal of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in the series “Magnificent Century,” which garnered significant success in Turkey, the Arab world, and many other countries.
