نفّذت أمانة منطقة عسير، ممثلة في بلدية السودة الفرعية بمدينة أبها، مبادرة تطوعية استمرت لمدة خمسة أيام لتنظيف عدد من الوجهات السياحية في مرتفعات السودة، بمشاركة 25 متطوعاً، ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى المحافظة على البيئة، وتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي، وتحسين المشهد الحضري.
وشملت المبادرة أعمال إزالة مخلفات الزوار وبقايا الأطعمة والمواد البلاستيكية من عدد من المواقع السياحية من بينها متنزّه السحاب ومطلات شعف آل ويمن، ومطل السودة، وقرية الصقور، بما يسهم في المحافظة على نظافة تلك المواقع وتهيئتها لاستقبال الزوار والمتنزهين تزامناً مع موسم صيف عسير. وأكدت الأمانة أن المبادرة تأتي في إطار جهودها لتعزيز ثقافة العمل التطوعي وترسيخ المسؤولية المجتمعية والمحافظة على نظافة وجمالية الوجهات السياحية والطبيعية.
The Asir Region Municipality, represented by the Al-Soudah Sub-Municipality in Abha, implemented a voluntary initiative that lasted for five days to clean several tourist destinations in the Al-Soudah Heights, with the participation of 25 volunteers, as part of its efforts to preserve the environment, enhance community awareness, and improve the urban landscape.
The initiative included the removal of waste left by visitors, food remnants, and plastic materials from several tourist sites, including the Cloud Park, the Shaf Al-Waymen viewpoints, Al-Soudah viewpoint, and the Falcon Village, contributing to the cleanliness of these sites and preparing them to welcome visitors and picnickers in conjunction with the Asir Summer season. The municipality confirmed that the initiative is part of its efforts to promote a culture of volunteer work, establish social responsibility, and maintain the cleanliness and beauty of tourist and natural destinations.
