بينما كان يستمتع بتواجده خارج البلاد، انهمرت الاتصالات الهاتفية على هاتفه كالصاعقة، ليتفاجأ الفنان والموزع الموسيقي المصري حسن الشافعي بأنه بات بطلاً لشائعة ثقيلة ادعت ضبطه في قضية مخدرات.
وخرج الشافعي عن صمته عبر مقطع فيديو على حسابه الرسمي في «فيسبوك»، موجهاً انتقادات لاذعة لإحدى المؤسسات الإعلامية الشهيرة التي تسرعت بنشر الخبر الزائف مقترناً باسمه وصورته، دون مراعاة لأبسط القواعد المهنية أو التأكد من صحة المعلومة.
ووصف الموسيقار المعروف ما جرى بـ«الإرهاب والجريمة الإعلامية»، مؤكداً أن الصدمة لم تتوقف عند حصر الأذى به شخصياً، بل امتدت لتطال أسرته والمقربين منه جراء القلق والرعب الذي تسببت فيه الفبركة الصحفية.
ولم يكتفِ الشافعي بالرد الشفهي، بل أعلن عن تحرك قضائي عاجل وملاحقة رسمية تطال محرّر الخبر، ومدير التحرير، ومالك المؤسسة، مؤكداً أن مجرد مسح المادة المفبركة لا يمحو الجرم، ومتسائلاً بنبرة حاسمة: «سمعة الناس ليست لعبة.. فكيف ننشد مجتمعاً آمناً وسط هذا العبث؟».
While he was enjoying his time abroad, phone calls poured in on his phone like a thunderbolt, surprising the Egyptian artist and music distributor Hassan El Shafie, who found himself at the center of a heavy rumor claiming he was caught in a drug case.
El Shafie broke his silence through a video on his official Facebook account, directing sharp criticisms at a well-known media organization that hastily published the false news associated with his name and image, without adhering to the simplest professional standards or verifying the accuracy of the information.
The renowned musician described what happened as “media terrorism and crime,” emphasizing that the shock did not stop at the harm inflicted on him personally, but extended to affect his family and those close to him due to the anxiety and terror caused by the fabricated news.
El Shafie did not settle for a verbal response; he announced urgent legal action and official pursuit against the news editor, the managing editor, and the owner of the organization, asserting that merely deleting the fabricated material does not erase the crime, and questioning in a decisive tone: “People’s reputations are not a game… how can we seek a safe community amidst this chaos?”
