The Syrian artist Taim Hassan revealed aspects of his relationship with his wife, the Egyptian media personality Wafaa Kilani, discussing her anticipated return to the screen and the possibility of them appearing together in a television interview. He also put an end to the controversy that arose around a previous statement interpreted as disrespectful towards her.
Taim Hassan misses Wafaa Kilani’s return
Taim Hassan expressed his appreciation for his wife’s media presence in television statements, expressing his longing for her return to the screen and confirming that she holds a special place that is hard to replace. He welcomed the idea of them participating in a joint television interview, saying: “Why not? It’s a great idea, and by the way, we talked a bit about it.”
The truth about Taim Hassan’s marriage statement
Regarding the controversy surrounding an old clip of him about the possibility of marrying another woman, the Syrian artist clarified that his response came in the context of a hypothetical question and was delivered in a sarcastic manner. However, the circulation of part of the dialogue without its full context led to different interpretations.
He pointed out that his phrase “If it were another woman, welcome to the triviality” was not directed at Wafaa Kilani and did not carry any diminishment of her. Rather, it was said in jest in response to the question, emphasizing that the intent of his words was not as some interpretations portrayed.
His new works
On another note, Taim Hassan is preparing to compete in the dramatic season of Ramadan 2027 with a new series titled “Hilal,” directed by Samer Al-Bargawi and produced by Al-Sabah Company, in a new artistic collaboration that brings the trio together in an anticipated work.
This project continues the partnership that has brought Taim Hassan and Al-Bargawi together for over 10 years, during which they presented several dramatic works, renewing their collaboration in a new experience aimed at reaching the audience during the upcoming Ramadan season.
