في مشهد درامي يقطع الأنفاس خيم عليه الصمت والذهول، تحولت كنيسة الصعود بمنطقة الضبية شرقي العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت إلى سرادق حزن أثناء تشييع جثمان المهندس نجيب عقيقي، زوج الفنانة اللبنانية لورا خليل، التي دخلت في انهيار تام أثناء تشييعه بعد أن فارق الحياة في حادثة أليمة بجمهورية غانا.
الرحيل المفاجئ لرفيق العمر والداعم الأول لمسيرتها طوى صفحة استقرار عائلي نادراً ما يشهد الوسط الفني مثيلاً لها، دامت لأكثر من عقدين كاملين.
وكانت الحادثة المفجعة وقعت أثناء تواجد الراحل في غانا لمتابعة أعماله الميدانية، لتتكشف ملابسات مأساوية أنهت حياته في لحظات:
- تسرب مائي قاتل: شهد الموقع الذي يتواجد فيه الراحل تسرباً مفاجئاً وكثيفاً للمياه.
- شرارة الصعق: تزامن تسرب المياه مع وجود مصدر كهربائي نشط متصل بالبقعة المائية.
- وفاة فورية: تعرض المهندس اللبناني لصعقة كهربائية شديدة القوة أودت بحياته على الفور قبل تمكن أطقم الإسعاف من إنقاذه.
وصل جثمان الراحل إلى العاصمة بيروت بعد استكمال الإجراءات الأمنية والطبية، لتبدأ مراسم الوداع الأخير في أجواء من الانكسار والفجيعة:
- ملابس سوداء وذهول: ظهرت الفنانة لورا خليل في حالة انهيار شديد، تتكئ على المقربين والأصدقاء لعدم قدرتها على السير.
- صمت العزاء: جلست الفنانة لتلقي واجب العزاء وهي في حالة صدمة وصمت تامين هزّا مشاعر الحاضرين.
- مساندة فنية واسعة: شهد التشييع حضوراً مكثفاً من نجوم الفن والإعلام وأصدقاء العائلة لمساندة لورا وأبنائها الثلاثة في هذه المحنة القاسية.
برحيل نجيب عقيقي، خسر الوسط الفني نموذجاً للبيوت الهادئة التي صمدت في وجه أزمات الشهرة:
- استقرار تام: نجح الثنائي على مدار 21 عاماً في الحفاظ على خصوصية حياتهما الشخصية وإبعاد أسرتهما عن صراعات الوسط الفني.
- أبناء ثلاثة: أثمر هذا الزواج عن إنجاب ثلاثة أبناء، لتبدأ لورا خليل رحلة جديدة أشد قسوة في تربيتهم بعد فقدان سندها الأكبر.
وما بين انهيار لورا وانكسارها، كانت صعقة كهربائية عابرة في غربة العمل كفيلة بإنهاء رحلة استقرار دامت 21 عاماً.. لتبقى الفاجعة قاسية والألم أعمق من أن تسعه كلمات الوداع.
In a dramatic scene that took one’s breath away, shrouded in silence and shock, the Ascension Church in the Dhubayyah area east of the Lebanese capital Beirut turned into a tent of sorrow during the funeral of engineer Najib Akeeki, the husband of Lebanese artist Laura Khalil, who fell into complete collapse during his funeral after he passed away in a tragic incident in the Republic of Ghana.
The sudden departure of a lifelong companion and her primary supporter closed a chapter of familial stability rarely seen in the artistic community, lasting for more than two full decades.
The tragic incident occurred while the deceased was in Ghana to oversee his fieldwork, revealing the tragic circumstances that ended his life in moments:
- Deadly water leak: The site where the deceased was present experienced a sudden and heavy water leak.
- Electrical spark: The water leak coincided with the presence of an active electrical source connected to the water spot.
- Immediate death: The Lebanese engineer suffered a powerful electric shock that took his life instantly before rescue teams could save him.
The body of the deceased arrived in the capital Beirut after completing the security and medical procedures, and the final farewell ceremonies began in an atmosphere of heartbreak and tragedy:
- Black clothing and shock: Artist Laura Khalil appeared in a state of severe collapse, leaning on close friends and relatives as she was unable to walk.
- Silence of condolence: The artist sat to receive condolences while in a state of shock and complete silence that shook the emotions of those present.
