The Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny is preparing to return to television drama after an absence of more than 12 years, specifically since his last work “Tawqeet Farq,” which aired in 2014.
Artistic Shift
Social media platforms have circulated news in recent hours about the return of collaboration between Tamer Hosny and director Mohamed Sami in this new project, aiming to revive their previous cinematic and dramatic successes.
According to statements from sources close to the series team, this news is not accurate, confirming that the direction is towards a completely different collaboration.
The sources indicated that there is a strong inclination to collaborate with director Shady Abdel Salam, in a move described as a different artistic shift in Tamer Hosny’s dramatic career.
This step reflects the desire of the star of the generation to present a visual vision and content that keeps pace with the tremendous development that the industry has witnessed during his years of absence.
Work Sessions
The star of the generation has held intensive work sessions with the production company to finalize the cast list and choose the names that will co-star with him to ensure a distinctive combination, as well as to determine the airing date.
The production company is considering two scenarios: either to push the work for Ramadan 2027 or to present it outside the Ramadan season as a major production that leads the digital platforms.
