توقيع مذكرة تفاهم للربط السككي بين السعودية وتركيا – أخبار السعودية

وقّعت السعودية وتركيا، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، في الرياض، مذكرة تفاهم للربط بالسكك الحديدية والخدمات اللوجيستية بحضور وزير النقل صالح الجاسر ونظيره التركي عبدالقادر أوغلو.

ويهدف مشروع الربط السككي إلى إنشاء مسارات برية بديلة عبوراً بالأردن وسورية، ما يعزّز مرونة النقل والتجارة بين آسيا وأوروبا، ويدعم تطوير منظومة النقل البري بين دول المنطقة مع تعزيز التكامل الإقليمي ودعم حركة التجارة.

ويأتي المشروع استجابةً للتطورات الاقتصادية العالمية، وحاجة المنطقة المُلحة إلى ممرات نقل برية آمنة ومستدامة.

Saudi Arabia and Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding today (Tuesday) in Riyadh for railway connectivity and logistics services, in the presence of Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jasser and his Turkish counterpart Abdulkadir Oglu.

The railway connectivity project aims to establish alternative land routes through Jordan and Syria, enhancing the flexibility of transportation and trade between Asia and Europe, and supporting the development of the land transport system among the countries in the region while promoting regional integration and supporting trade movement.

The project comes in response to global economic developments and the urgent need for safe and sustainable land transport corridors in the region.
