أكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي أن اللقاء التشاوري الـ15 بين وزراء التجارة ورؤساء اتحادات غرف دول مجلس التعاون يُعد منصة حوارية إستراتيجية تجمع بين صانعي السياسات ومتخذي القرار من جهة، وبين ممثلي القطاع الخاص من جهة أخرى، ويشكل اللقاء أعلى مستويات التواصل بين المسؤولين الحكوميين والقطاع الخاص؛ بهدف تعزيز التعاون المشترك وتحفيز النمو الاقتصادي لدول المجلس، إضافة إلى معالجة التحديات الاقتصادية الإقليمية والدولية التي تواجه القطاع الخاص الخليجي.
تحقيق الأهداف الوطنية
جاء ذلك خلال اللقاء التشاوري الخامس عشر بين وزراء التجارة ورؤساء اتحادات غرف دول مجلس التعاون، اليوم، في العاصمة البحرينية المنامة، برئاسة وزير الصناعة والتجارة في مملكة البحرين، رئيس الدورة الحالية، عبدالله بن عادل فخرو، وبحضور وزراء التجارة ورؤساء اتحادات غرف بدول المجلس.
وأشار الأمين في كلمته إلى الدور الحيوي والبارز الذي يقوم به القطاع الخاص في تحقيق الأهداف الوطنية لدول مجلس التعاون وتعزيز مسيرة التعاون الخليجي المشترك، حيث يأتي اللقاء التشاوري الخامس عشر بين وزراء التجارة ورؤساء اتحادات غرف دول مجلس التعاون لتسليط الضوء على التحديات التي يواجهها القطاع الخاص الخليجي، والعمل على تجاوزها من خلال تقديم الحلول المناسبة، وذلك في إطار التوجيهات السديدة لقادة دول المجلس، الذين يحرصون على دعم هذا القطاع وتمكينه من أداء دوره الفاعل في تحقيق التكامل الاقتصادي بين دول المجلس.
دعم نمو القطاع الخاص
وأشار البديوي إلى أن اللقاء التشاوري الخامس عشر بين وزراء التجارة ورؤساء اتحادات غرف بدول المجلس يساهم في تركيز الجهود على الموضوعات المدرجة في جدول الأعمال؛ بهدف الوصول إلى مبادرات تسهم في دعم نمو القطاع الخاص في دول المجلس، ليكون محركًا اقتصاديًا قويًا يسهم في استقرار الاقتصاد والتنمية في دول المجلس، ويعزز مكانتها الدولية بوصفها مركزًا ماليًا واستثماريًا واقتصاديًا عالميًا.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the 15th consultative meeting between the Ministers of Trade and the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce of the GCC countries is a strategic dialogue platform that brings together policymakers and decision-makers on one hand, and representatives of the private sector on the other hand. This meeting represents the highest levels of communication between government officials and the private sector, aiming to enhance joint cooperation and stimulate economic growth in the member states, in addition to addressing the regional and international economic challenges facing the Gulf private sector.
Achieving National Goals
This took place during the 15th consultative meeting between the Ministers of Trade and the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce of the GCC countries, today, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, chaired by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the current chair, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, and attended by the Ministers of Trade and the Heads of Chambers from the member states.
The Secretary-General, in his speech, pointed to the vital and prominent role played by the private sector in achieving the national goals of the GCC countries and enhancing the path of joint Gulf cooperation. The 15th consultative meeting between the Ministers of Trade and the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce aims to highlight the challenges faced by the Gulf private sector and work to overcome them by providing appropriate solutions, in line with the wise directives of the leaders of the member states, who are keen to support this sector and empower it to play its active role in achieving economic integration among the member states.
Supporting Private Sector Growth
Al-Budaiwi indicated that the 15th consultative meeting between the Ministers of Trade and the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce of the member states contributes to focusing efforts on the topics listed on the agenda, aiming to reach initiatives that contribute to supporting the growth of the private sector in the member states, making it a strong economic driver that contributes to the stability of the economy and development in the member states, and enhances their international standing as a global financial, investment, and economic hub.
