The diva Samira Said is preparing to return to her audience after a period of anticipation, with a new musical album that includes 14 diverse songs and carries a range of surprises and different musical ideas, following a preparation journey that lasted nearly two full years.
The album is expected to be released in two phases; the first batch will launch during the first week of November, while the release date for the second part has not yet been revealed. The entire project is being produced by the artist Samira Said.
During the preparation stages, Samira Said listened to dozens of musical works, ranging from 30 to 40 songs, before settling on just 14 songs to form the final version of the album, in a selection process where she was keen to achieve diversity and renewal.
The release date coincides with the anniversary of her famous album “Aiza Aish,” which achieved wide success 11 years ago and included notable songs such as “Hawa Hawa” and “Ma Hasalsh Haga,” in a move that recalls one of the distinctive milestones in her artistic career.
The new album is characterized by its musical diversity, as it combines romantic and dramatic songs with maqsoom rhythms, alongside modern musical experiments and ideas through which Samira Said aims to present a different vision to her audience. The Egyptian dialect dominates most of the songs in the work, while the first part includes a song in the Moroccan dialect, with possibilities of presenting another Moroccan work in the second phase of the album.
The album features a number of poets, composers, and music distributors, in collaborations that Samira Said bets on to deliver a strong artistic comeback that matches her extended status in the Arab music scene.
