وقال: «السيناريو الجيد هو أساس اختياري لأي عمل، ودائمًا متعطش للورق الحلو اللي يخرج مني شكل ودور جديد عليا».

وأشار إلى أن أكثر ما جذبه إلى فيلم «ريد فلاج» هو طبيعة الفيلم التي تميل إلى الكوميديا الخفيفة، إلى جانب الشخصية التي يجسدها، موضحًا أنه يظهر خلال الأحداث بشخصية «نبيل»، والد أحمد حاتم، ويعمل خياطًا متخصصًا في تفصيل ملابس السيدات.
ولفت إلى أن طبيعة مهنة الشخصية تضعها في مواقف ومفارقات مختلفة ضمن أحداث الفيلم، مؤكدًا أن الجمهور سيكتشف تفاصيلها تدريجيًا مع تطور الأحداث.

وعن مشاركته في موسم دراما رمضان 2027، كشف شريف منير أنه يقرأ حاليًا أكثر من سيناريو، ويجري المفاضلة بينها، لكنه لم يتخذ قرارًا نهائيًا بشأن العمل الذي سيشارك به في الموسم الرمضاني القادم، مؤكدًا أن الاختيار النهائي سيكون مرتبطًا بجودة السيناريو وطبيعة الدور الذي يقدمه.

ومن المقرر أن يُطرح فيلم «ريد فلاج» في دور العرض السينمائية بمصر غداً يوم الأربعاء الموافق 9 سبتمبر ضمن منافسات الأفلام المعروضة، حيث يجمع العمل كلاً من أحمد حاتم، جميلة عوض، شريف منير، نسرين أمين، انتصار، ميمي جمال وآخرون، ومن تأليف أحمد محيي، إخراج محمود كريم.
The Egyptian artist Sherif Mounir revealed details about his participation in the film “Red Flag,” starring actor Ahmed Hatem, confirming that the work represents a different experience for him, both in terms of the nature of the character and the comedic atmosphere in which the events take place.
Sherif Mounir explained in a special statement to “Okaz” that a good script remains the primary factor that determines his artistic choices, noting that he is always looking for works that give him the opportunity to avoid repetition and present new roles.
He said: “A good script is the basis for my choice of any work, and I am always eager for the sweet material that brings out a new shape and role for me.”

He pointed out that what attracted him most to the film “Red Flag” is the nature of the film, which leans towards light comedy, in addition to the character he portrays, explaining that he appears during the events as “Nabil,” the father of Ahmed Hatem, and works as a tailor specializing in women’s clothing.
He noted that the nature of the character’s profession places him in various situations and contradictions within the film’s events, emphasizing that the audience will gradually discover its details as the story unfolds.

He indicated that the film addresses several concepts related to love and modern romantic relationships, through a contemporary treatment that highlights the nature of relationships and their changes, within a framework that combines social themes and light comedy.

Regarding his participation in the Ramadan 2027 drama season, Sherif Mounir revealed that he is currently reading several scripts and is comparing them, but he has not made a final decision about the work he will participate in during the upcoming Ramadan season, confirming that the final choice will be linked to the quality of the script and the nature of the role he presents.

The film “Red Flag” is scheduled to be released in cinemas in Egypt tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9, as part of the competing films, featuring Ahmed Hatem, Jamila Awad, Sherif Mounir, Nasreen Amin, Entsar, Mimi Jamal, and others, written by Ahmed Mohy and directed by Mahmoud Karim.
