أمير جازان يطّلع على أعمال هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية – أخبار السعودية

التقى أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية المهندس عبدالله بن مفطر الشمراني، وعددًا من منسوبي الهيئة.

واستمع خلال الاستقبال إلى شرحٍ مفصّل عن أعمال هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية في منطقة جازان، ودورها في تزويد المجتمع بالمعرفة والمعلومات في مختلف مجالات علوم الأرض، وما تقوم به من أعمال المسح الجيولوجي ومراقبة المخاطر الجيولوجية، وجهودها في دعم التنمية المستدامة من خلال البيانات والمخرجات العلمية التي تقدمها للجهات ذات العلاقة.

واطّلع أمير جازان والحضور على أبرز مشاريع الهيئة ومبادراتها وخططها الإستراتيجية بالمنطقة، وأهدافها المستقبلية في تطوير أعمال الرصد الجيولوجي والاستكشاف، وتعزيز الاستفادة من البيانات الجيولوجية في دعم التنمية المستدامة.

ونوّه أمير المنطقة بما توليه القيادة من دعمٍ واهتمامٍ بقطاع الجيولوجيا والمسح الجيولوجي لما له من أثرٍ في حماية الأرواح والممتلكات واستثمار الموارد الطبيعية، مؤكدًا أهمية استمرار التعاون والتكامل بين الهيئة والجهات المعنية في المنطقة لتحقيق الأهداف التنموية المنشودة.

من جانبه، عبّر المهندس الشمراني عن شكره لأمير منطقة جازان على دعمه وتوجيهاته المستمرة، مؤكدًا حرص الهيئة على تعزيز حضورها في المنطقة وتطوير أعمالها بما يخدم التنمية الوطنية.

The Emir of the Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, met with the CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey, Engineer Abdullah bin Muftir Al-Shamrani, and a number of the agency’s staff.

During the reception, he listened to a detailed explanation about the works of the Geological Survey in the Jazan Region, its role in providing the community with knowledge and information in various fields of Earth sciences, and what it does in geological surveying and monitoring geological hazards, as well as its efforts in supporting sustainable development through the data and scientific outputs it provides to relevant entities.

The Emir of Jazan and the attendees were briefed on the agency’s most prominent projects, initiatives, and strategic plans in the region, as well as its future goals in developing geological monitoring and exploration activities, and enhancing the utilization of geological data to support sustainable development.

The Emir of the region noted the support and interest that the leadership gives to the geology and geological surveying sector due to its impact on protecting lives and property and investing in natural resources, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation and integration between the agency and the relevant entities in the region to achieve the desired developmental goals.

For his part, Engineer Al-Shamrani expressed his gratitude to the Emir of the Jazan Region for his continuous support and guidance, affirming the agency’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the region and developing its activities in a way that serves national development.
