ردت الفنانة المصرية رحمة محسن، على الانتقادات التي وجهت لها إثر مشاركتها التمثيلية الأولى في مسلسل «علي كلاي»، بطولة الفنان المصري أحمد العوضي، والذي يعرض حالياً ضمن منافسات موسم دراما رمضان 2026.

وأكدت رحمة محسن لـ«عكاظ» أن ترشيحها للدور جاء عبر الفنان أحمد العوضي، مشيرة إلى أنه آمن بموهبتها منذ بداياتها في الغناء، وكان داعمًا رئيسيًا لها في كل خطواتها الفنية.
وقالت: لا أرد على الانتقادات السلبية، لكني أولي اهتمامًا بالآراء الإيجابية، معتبرة أن الاستفادة من النقد البناء أمر ضروري لأنها تؤمن بحق كل شخص في التعبير عن رأيه.
وأضافت: أسلوب النقد في الفترة الأخيرة أصبح قاسيًا ومؤذيًا، ويتحول أحيانًا إلى تجريح وإهانة، مؤكدة أنها لا تركز على النقد الهدام، خاصة أنه من المستحيل أن يتفق الناس جميعًا على رأي واحد.

Rahma Mohsen confirmed to “Okaz” that her nomination for the role came through the artist Ahmed El Awady, noting that he believed in her talent since her early days in singing and has been a major supporter in all her artistic endeavors.
She said: “I do not respond to negative criticisms, but I pay attention to positive opinions, considering that benefiting from constructive criticism is essential because I believe in everyone’s right to express their opinion.”
She added: “The style of criticism lately has become harsh and hurtful, sometimes turning into insults and humiliation, emphasizing that she does not focus on destructive criticism, especially since it is impossible for everyone to agree on a single opinion.”
The series “Ali Clay” features Ahmed El Awady, Dora, Mohamed Tharwat, Tarek El Desouki, Entsar, Safwa, Rahma Mohsen, Marwa Al-Azly, Yara Al-Sukari, Essam El-Sakka, Mahmoud El-Bazawy, and others, written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam.
