تراجعت أسعار الذهب خلال تعاملات اليوم، متأثرةً بقوة الدولار وارتفاع عوائد سندات الخزانة الأمريكية، كما أدى قرار الاحتياطي الفيدرالي بتثبيت أسعار الفائدة إلى تراجع جاذبية المعدن النفيس.
وانخفضت أسعار العقود الآجلة للذهب تسليم أبريل بنسبة 5.2% أو ما يعادل 255.3 دولار إلى 4,640.3 دولار للأوقية. وتراجعت أسعار العقود الآجلة للفضة تسليم شهر مايو القادم بنسبة 10% إلى 69.88 دولار للأوقية، وانخفض سعر التسليم الفوري 8.09% ليسجل 69.21 دولار.
مؤشر الدولار
وهبط سعر التسليم الفوري للمعدن الأصفر بنسبة 4.05% عند 4622.43 دولار للأوقية، وتراجع السعر الفوري للبلاتين بحوالى 5.55% عند 1910.48 دولار، وأيضًا البلاديوم 3.16% إلى 1428.67 دولار للأوقية.
واستقر مؤشر الدولار -الذي يقيس قيمته مقابل سلة من العملات الرئيسية- عند 100.07 نقطة، فيما ارتفعت عوائد السندات الأمريكية لأجل 10 أعوام بمقدار 5 نقاط أساس إلى 4.306%
Gold prices fell during today’s trading, influenced by the strength of the dollar and rising yields on U.S. Treasury bonds. The Federal Reserve’s decision to maintain interest rates also reduced the attractiveness of the precious metal.
Futures prices for gold for April delivery dropped by 5.2%, or $255.3, to $4,640.3 per ounce. Futures prices for silver for May delivery fell by 10% to $69.88 per ounce, while the spot price decreased by 8.09% to $69.21.
Dollar Index
The spot price for the yellow metal fell by 4.05% to $4,622.43 per ounce, and the spot price for platinum declined by about 5.55% to $1,910.48, while palladium dropped by 3.16% to $1,428.67 per ounce.
The dollar index – which measures its value against a basket of major currencies – remained stable at 100.07 points, while yields on 10-year U.S. bonds rose by 5 basis points to 4.306%
