خفضت منظمة الدول المصدرة للنفط «أوبك»، توقعاتها للطلب العالمي على النفط في الربع الثاني من العام الحالي، عازية ذلك إلى تأثير الحرب الدائرة في الشرق الأوسط، بحسب ما نقلته وكالات أنباء عن نسخة من التقرير الشهري للمنظمة، واطلعت عليه «العربية Business».
وذكرت «أوبك» أن نمو الطلب العالمي على النفط للعام بأكمله لم يتغير عن تقديراتها السابقة، إذ أبقت المنظمة على توقعاتها لعامي 2026 و2027 بشأن نمو الطلب العالمي على النفط دون تغيير.
وتوقعت «أوبك» أن يبلغ الطلب العالمي على النفط في الربع الثاني من 2026 نحو 105.07 مليون برميل يومياً مقابل 105.57 مليون برميل يومياً في التوقعات السابقة.
تعويض الضعف
وتشير المذكرة المحدثة إلى تعديل «أوبك» توقعاتها لنمو الطلب على النفط في الربع الثاني بالخفض سواء بالنسبة لدول منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية أو غير الأعضاء فيها وذلك بسبب حرب إيران.
وقدّرت المنظمة متوسط إنتاج النفط الخام من دول أوبك+ عند 35.06 مليون برميل يومياً في مارس 2026 بانخفاض 7.70 مليون برميل يومياً عن شهر فبراير الماضي مع خفض إنتاج الأعضاء في الشرق الأوسط بسبب حرب إيران.
ومع ذلك، من المتوقع أن يتم تعويض هذا الضعف في النصف الثاني من العام، بحسب ما أضافت.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has lowered its expectations for global oil demand in the second quarter of this year, attributing this to the impact of the ongoing war in the Middle East, according to news agencies reporting on a copy of the organization’s monthly report, which was reviewed by “Al Arabiya Business.”
OPEC stated that the growth in global oil demand for the entire year remains unchanged from its previous estimates, as the organization kept its forecasts for 2026 and 2027 regarding global oil demand unchanged.
OPEC predicted that global oil demand in the second quarter of 2026 would reach approximately 105.07 million barrels per day, compared to 105.57 million barrels per day in previous forecasts.
Compensating for Weakness
The updated memo indicates that OPEC has revised its expectations for oil demand growth in the second quarter downward, both for OECD countries and non-member countries, due to the Iran war.
The organization estimated the average crude oil production from OPEC+ countries at 35.06 million barrels per day in March 2026, a decrease of 7.70 million barrels per day from February, due to the reduction in production by members in the Middle East because of the Iran war.
However, this weakness is expected to be compensated for in the second half of the year, it added.
