أكّد وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط فيصل الإبراهيم أنّ مشاركة المملكة في الاجتماع السنوي للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي 2026 بمدينة دافوس تجسّد دورها المحوري في صياغة الأجندة الاقتصادية العالمية، انطلاقاً من تجربتها التحولية ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030، واستكمالاً لجهودها كونها شريكاً فاعلاً في تحقيق التنمية الشاملة، وابتكار حلول ذات أثر ملموس لمواجهة التحديات العالمية، بما يضمن استدامة النمو والازدهار على الصعيد المحلي والإقليمي والدولي.
وأوضح في تصريح إلى وكالة الأنباء السعودية أنّ المنتدى سيسلط الضوء على محاور جوهرية، تستهدف مأسسة التعاون الدولي عبر صياغة نماذج اقتصادية تشاركية تضمن استدامة النمو التحولي، لافتاً إلى تجربة المملكة في استحداث محركات النمو، وبناء قاعدة إنتاجية متينة ترتكز على الاستثمار في القطاعات الحيوية، وتعزيز إسهامات الأنشطة ذات العوائد الاقتصادية النوعية؛ حيث حقّق نحو 74 من الأنشطة الاقتصادية غير النفطية خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية، من أصل 81 نشاطاً غير نفطي، نمواً سنوياً يتجاوز 5%، من بينها 38 نشاطاً اقتصادياً سجّلت نمواً يفوق 10%؛ ما يعكس توسعاً حقيقياً في القاعدة الإنتاجية لاقتصاد المملكة.
توازن تجاري عالمي
وأفاد بأنّ تحفيز التحول الاقتصادي العالمي يتطلب نموذجاً تعاونياً وثيقاً مبنياً على تعزيز الكفاءة الإنتاجية عبر التوسع في تبني الحلول الرقمية وتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي كونهما ركائز أساسية لرفع مستويات الإنتاجية وتوليد فرص نمو نوعية، إلى جانب الاستثمار في رأس المال البشري، موضحاً أنّ الابتكار الجذري وإعادة صياغة السياسات التنموية المحفزة للنمو يشكلان المسار الإستراتيجي لتحقيق التكامل الاقتصادي وضمان استقرار التوازن التجاري العالمي، وصولاً إلى بناء منظومة اقتصادية عالمية تتسم بالمرونة والاستدامة وتدعم الازدهار في الأسواق الناشئة.
The Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, confirmed that the Kingdom’s participation in the 2026 annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos embodies its pivotal role in shaping the global economic agenda, stemming from its transformative experience within the framework of Vision 2030, and continuing its efforts as an active partner in achieving comprehensive development, and innovating solutions with a tangible impact to address global challenges, ensuring the sustainability of growth and prosperity at the local, regional, and international levels.
He explained in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the forum will highlight essential themes aimed at institutionalizing international cooperation through the formulation of participatory economic models that ensure the sustainability of transformative growth, noting the Kingdom’s experience in creating growth engines and building a robust production base based on investment in vital sectors, and enhancing contributions from activities with qualitative economic returns; where about 74 of the non-oil economic activities over the past five years, out of 81 non-oil activities, achieved an annual growth exceeding 5%, among which 38 economic activities recorded growth exceeding 10%; reflecting a real expansion in the production base of the Kingdom’s economy.
Global Trade Balance
He stated that stimulating global economic transformation requires a close collaborative model based on enhancing productive efficiency through the expansion of adopting digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies as they are fundamental pillars for raising productivity levels and generating qualitative growth opportunities, in addition to investing in human capital, explaining that radical innovation and the reformation of growth-stimulating development policies constitute the strategic path to achieving economic integration and ensuring the stability of the global trade balance, leading to the establishment of a global economic system characterized by flexibility and sustainability that supports prosperity in emerging markets.
