The name of the artist Nasser Al-Qasabi remains one of the names that attracts attention as each Ramadan season approaches, especially with his recent absence from the dramatic competition, raising the question early: Will Al-Qasabi regain his presence in the upcoming Ramadan?

So far, no new Ramadan project has been announced that brings Al-Qasabi into the next season, while the Ramadan schedule has begun to take shape gradually, with the unveiling of several works and movements from stars and production companies, leaving the door open for the possibility of his entry into the race in the coming period.

Al-Qasabi’s absence carries a different weight in Saudi drama, given his long history associated with the Ramadan season, from the experience of “Tash Ma Tash,” which created a lasting public presence, to later works including “Al-Asouf,” and then “Tash Al-Awda,” which aired in 2023.

However, the question goes beyond the idea of returning to the screen: With what project can Al-Qasabi return? The transformations that Saudi drama has witnessed, the expansion of production, and the diversity of generations and themes make the anticipated return subject to an artistic test related to the choice of script, character, and format capable of providing a new addition away from merely recapturing past successes.

Between the absence of an official announcement and the ongoing formation of the season’s map, Nasser Al-Qasabi’s participation in the upcoming Ramadan remains an open possibility, awaiting a project that will clarify the question and determine the nature of his return to the competition.
