تحولت ساحة سوق الربوع في قرية الأطاولة التراثية إلى لوحة نابضة بالتراث والشعر، بعدما احتضنت إحدى أجمل أمسيات مهرجان الأطاولة التراثي التاسع المقام ضمن فعاليات صيف منطقة الباحة 2026، حيث امتزج صوت الطبول بجزالة القصيدة، والتقت العرضة الجنوبية بالشعر، في مشهد أعاد للموروث الشعبي حضوره الآسر.
وشهدت الأمسية حضوراً كبيراً من الأهالي والزوار الذين توافدوا لمتابعة هذا الفن الأصيل الذي يعد أحد أبرز رموز الهوية الثقافية في جنوب المملكة. وتناوب على ساحة الشعر نخبة من شعراء المنطقة وهم؛ عبدالله البيضاني وأحمد الدرمحي وأحمد الكناني والدكتور إبراهيم الشيخي، فيما ألقى الدكتور عبدالواحد بن سعود قصيدة لاقت استحسان الحضور الذين قابلوها بتصفيق حار.
وتبارى الشعراء في فن البدع والرد مقدمين قصائد تنوعت بين الوطنية والاجتماعية والتراثية، في حوار شعري اتسم بجمال المعنى وقوة الارتجال وسرعة البديهة، ليؤكد هذا الفن مكانته بوصفه أحد أبرز ملامح الشعر الجنوبي. ومع إيقاعات الطبول وصفوف العرضة تفاعل الجمهور مردداً الأهازيج في أجواء جسدت عمق الارتباط بالموروث الشعبي.
ولم تكن الأمسية مجرد عرض فني، بل كانت نافذة على تاريخ المنطقة وثقافتها، إذ تعكس العرضة الجنوبية قيم التلاحم والاعتزاز بالهوية الوطنية، وتمثل أحد أهم الفنون الأدائية التي حافظت على حضورها عبر الأجيال بما تحمله من مضامين شعرية وأداء جماعي يجمع بين الإبداع والوجدان.
وامتلأت ساحة الفعالية بالحضور من داخل المنطقة وخارجها، في مشهد أكد المكانة التي يحظى بها مهرجان الأطاولة، بوصفه منصة للاحتفاء بالتراث السعودي وإحياء الفنون الشعبية وتعزيز السياحة الثقافية.
ويواصل مهرجان الأطاولة التراثي التاسع تقديم برامجه اليومية المتنوعة التي تجمع بين التراث والثقافة والفنون والحرف التقليدية، في تجسيد حي لتاريخ القرية وإرثها الحضاري، وترسيخ لمكانتها كإحدى أبرز الوجهات التراثية والسياحية في منطقة الباحة.
The Al-Rabou’ market square in the heritage village of Al-Atawla has transformed into a vibrant canvas of heritage and poetry, after hosting one of the most beautiful evenings of the ninth Al-Atawla Heritage Festival, held as part of the events of the 2026 Al-Baha Summer. The sound of drums blended with the richness of poetry, and the southern ardha met with poetry, in a scene that restored the captivating presence of the popular heritage.
The evening witnessed a large turnout from locals and visitors who flocked to follow this authentic art, which is considered one of the most prominent symbols of cultural identity in the south of the Kingdom. A selection of poets from the region took turns in the poetry arena, including Abdullah Al-Baydani, Ahmed Al-Durmhi, Ahmed Al-Kanani, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sheikhi, while Dr. Abdulwahid bin Saud recited a poem that was well-received by the audience, who responded with warm applause.
The poets competed in the art of improvisation and response, presenting poems that varied between national, social, and heritage themes, in a poetic dialogue characterized by the beauty of meaning, the strength of improvisation, and quick wit, affirming this art’s status as one of the most prominent features of southern poetry. With the rhythms of drums and the lines of ardha, the audience interacted, chanting the traditional songs in an atmosphere that embodied the deep connection to popular heritage.
The evening was not just an artistic display; it was a window into the region’s history and culture, as the southern ardha reflects values of solidarity and pride in national identity, representing one of the most important performing arts that has maintained its presence across generations, carrying poetic content and a collective performance that combines creativity and emotion.
The event square was filled with attendees from inside and outside the region, in a scene that confirmed the status of the Al-Atawla Festival as a platform for celebrating Saudi heritage, reviving folk arts, and enhancing cultural tourism.
The ninth Al-Atawla Heritage Festival continues to present its diverse daily programs that combine heritage, culture, arts, and traditional crafts, vividly embodying the village’s history and its civilizational legacy, and solidifying its position as one of the most prominent heritage and tourist destinations in the Al-Baha region.
