تراجعت أسعار النفط في التعاملات المبكرة اليوم بعد أن أعلنت قطر إحراز تقدم إيجابي في المحادثات بين الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وإيران في الدوحة.
وهبطت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت بمقدار (73) سنتًا، ما نسبته (1.02%)، لتصل إلى (70.84) دولار للبرميل بحلول الساعة 0102 بتوقيت جرينتش، في حين انخفض خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي بنسبة (1.21%)، ما يعادل (83) سنتًا، مُسجّلًا (67.75) دولار للبرميل.
ونزل المؤشران في الجلسة السابقة بأكثر من 1 % إلى أدنى مستوياتهما في أربعة أشهر.
Oil prices fell in early trading today after Qatar announced positive progress in talks between the United States and Iran in Doha.
Brent crude futures dropped by (73) cents, or (1.02%), to reach (70.84) dollars per barrel by 0102 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell by (1.21%), equivalent to (83) cents, recording (67.75) dollars per barrel.
The two indices declined in the previous session by more than 1% to their lowest levels in four months.
