وأكدت النقابة في بيانها أن ما ورد خلال التحقيق يعكس التزاماً بالضوابط المهنية المنظمة للعمل الإعلامي، مع ضرورة الالتزام المستمر بميثاق الشرف الإعلامي، مشيدة بتعاون شبكة قنوات النهار خلال مجريات التحقيق واعتبرته نموذجاً للتنسيق المهني المسؤول.

وكانت نقابة الإعلاميين قد استدعت سابقاً ريهام سعيد ومعد برنامج «صبايا الخير» للتحقيق بسبب ملاحظات مهنية وشكوى رسمية على حلقة تناولت «كلاب الشوارع» عرضت في مايو 2026.
