علق الفنان المصري محمد إمام على الجدل المثار على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي أخيراً حول الفنان الأعلى أجرًا في الوسط الفني، وذلك بعد تصريحات الفنان أحمد العوضي التي وصف فيها نفسه بالأعلى أجرًا ومشاهدة، والتي واجهت موجة انتقادات واسعة.
وأكد إمام عبر صفحته على «فيسبوك» أن والده، الزعيم عادل إمام، لا يزال الأعلى أجرًا في الوطن العربي. وكتب: «ما حدش مننا يقدر يقرب للرقم بتاعه، في نجوم كبار في السينما بيجيبوا أعلى الإيرادات ونجوم متألقون بيدغدغوا الدنيا في المسلسلات بيتقاضوا أعلى الأجور».
وأشار إمام إلى أن منشوره كان مزحة مع أصدقائه ومعجبيه، وأنه لا يقصد إثارة أي ضجة، مؤكدًا الاحترام المتبادل بينه وبين زملائه في الوسط الفني.
الكنج في رمضان
وعلى الصعيد الفني، يشارك محمد إمام في الموسم الرمضاني المقبل بمسلسل «الكينج»، وهو عمل درامي اجتماعي يشارك في بطولته حنان مطاوع، عمرو عبد الجليل، عماد رشاد، وميرنا جميل، من تأليف محمد صلاح العزب وإخراج شيرين عادل.
The Egyptian artist Mohamed Imam commented on the recent controversy on social media regarding the highest-paid artist in the entertainment industry, following statements made by artist Ahmed El Awady, who described himself as the highest-paid and most-watched, which faced a wave of widespread criticism.
Imam confirmed on his Facebook page that his father, the legendary Adel Imam, is still the highest-paid in the Arab world. He wrote: “No one among us can come close to his figure; there are major stars in cinema who bring in the highest revenues, and outstanding stars who are making waves in series and earning the highest salaries.”
Imam pointed out that his post was a joke with his friends and fans, and that he did not intend to stir any controversy, emphasizing the mutual respect between him and his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
The King in Ramadan
On the artistic front, Mohamed Imam will participate in the upcoming Ramadan season with the series “The King,” which is a social drama featuring Hanan Motawaa, Amr Abdel Gelil, Emad Rashad, and Mirna Jamil, written by Mohamed Salah El Azab and directed by Sherine Adel.
